Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania, received her master's degree from the University of Miami. She started her professional career as a video producer at CBS Sports in New York City. She received a Sports Emmy while working for WTVJ-TV Miami. She also served as an anchor for WPLG-TV Miami, and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She joined ESPN in 1993 and became one of the first anchors on ESPN2 that was created. After three years, she left ESPN2 for Fox Sports. Her return back to ESPN in 1999 and currently hosts Monday Night Countdown.
